About Me
Currently serving as both an Investment Advisor Assistant and a Client Support Specialist at iA Private Wealth, Rona Rafal plays an important role within her firm by not only carrying out a broad range of administrative duties and conducting critical research, but also by developing trust and building lasting connections with clientele.
Before she found her niche in Vancouver’s personal finance management sector, Rona’s career path was one marked by diverse roles in several industries.
After earning her degree in Arts and Sciences from Simon Fraser University, Rona took a supervisory role at Tim Hortons between 2008 and 2014. From there, she moved on to a position in client services with The Salvation Army’s Family Services division, a position she held from 2014 to 2016. Concurrently, she also worked in the export and freight industry as an Export Manager at True Freight Canada, where she honed her organizational skills while optimizing shipment processes. She left this position in 2018 when she was offered her first role with iA Private Wealth.
Upon entering the private wealth management sector, Rona knew she had found a good fit for herself professionally and worked hard to distinguish herself at the firm, earning several promotions in the process. Her present dual role as an Investment Advisor Assistant and Client Support Specialist allows her to capitalize on her strengths in communications and problem-solving to forward the goals of the firm. Rona thrives when forging meaningful, long-term connections with clients, sharing in their milestones, and talking through their personal and financial goals in order to provide high-quality custom-tailored support.
Always looking to keep busy and explore her interests, in recent years, Rona has also dabbled in the realm of beauty and wellness by working at a local salon during her free evenings and weekends.
Outside of her career, Rona has many hobbies. She recharges by swimming, running, and working out at her gym. An artist at heart, she also enjoys playing the piano and attending concerts whenever her busy schedule allows. But above all else, Rona Rafal treasures spending quality time with her beloved daughter.
